Father David J. Endres, Assistant Professor of Church History at Mount St. Mary's Seminary of the West in Cincinnati
Dr. Endres is one of the six scholars hired by the Academy of American Franciscan History to research and write about the history of the Franciscan Family in the United States. Father Endres will be examining the Franciscan involvement in parish ministry with a special focus on the immigrant communities the Franciscans have served. Father Endres is author of a recent monograph, American Crusade: Catholic Youth in the World Mission Movement from World War I through Vatican II.

"Serving the World: Franciscan Missionary Activity in Latin America: An Historical Perspective"
Sister Margaret Guider, OSF, Associate Professor of Missiology, Boston College
Dr. Guider, a Joliet Franciscan, is one of the six scholars hired by the Academy of American Franciscan History to research and write about the history of the Franciscan Family in the United States. She will be examining the Franciscan missionary involvement in Latin America and Africa. She is author of the edited collection Doing What is Ours to Do: A Clarian Theology of Life published by the Franciscan Institute.
